Hi, I’m Sanjay, also known as the “AND” guy. I am a technologist based in SF & Hyderabad (India), AND a dedicated family man focused on raising athletic kids.
I spent my childhood and undergrad days, playing lot of sports and sometimes studying. I was an average student but fortunate enough to attend IIT. After spending my black hair days in big tech companies and small startups, I decided to devote the rest of my life to pursuits that I love: playing sports in real life and bootstrapping a tech business.
I am incredibly optimistic about AI and the positive abundance future. There has never been a time in history when the “AND” mentality could be so ubiquitous – everyone can now “make their own cake and eat it too”. More about the “AND” philosophy below.
Currently:
- Unagenie.com – The post-purchase customer delight platform for modern e-commerce brands. Read the story behind.
- theMool.co – Talking sports for kids & parents, and actually doing it in IRL every weekend. Read the why, what and how.
Previously:
- Google – Launched GPay’s lending (credit card & loans) business, and ran GPay marketing programs in India & Singapore. I was also lucky to be early in building AI evals (~2017) with human-in-the-loop systems.
- ESPN – Built digital properties that served millions of cricket fans (espncricinfo.com) in India, and billions of worldwide sports fans (espn.com, scrum.com and more)
- Picsquare.com (acquired NSE:INFIBEAM) – e-commerce circa 2K8. Started my career with a startup when the ecosystem was pure – all about building cool things. Flipkart was just ~1.5 years old, and one could go from Koramangala to Hebbal in 20 mins flat.
